  1. Once you've found content by searching How to or browsing How to on the eShop, select the item you wish to download to view more information and select 'Tap Here to Download' or 'Tap Here to Purchase.'
    • If the selected content has a rating, it will be displayed on the screen. Select 'Next' to continue.
  2. Select the box under 'Zip Code,' use the on-screen keyboard to enter the billing zip code, and select 'OK.'
  3. Select 'OK' again to accept the zip code.
  4. Select the city, county, and state that best match your location, then select 'OK.' Select 'OK' again to save your location.
  5. Select 'Purchase' and then 'Add Funds.'
  6. Select 'Add Funds Using a Credit Card,' then select the dollar amount ($10, $20, $50, $100 or Needed Funds) and then 'Yes.'
  7. Select the type of credit card (VISA / MasterCard).
  8. If credit card information is saved to the Nintendo eShop, select 'Use This Credit Card' or 'Use Another Credit Card.'
    • If using saved credit card information, enter the four-to-eight character password and skip to step 8.
    • If using another credit card, select 'Delete' and proceed to step 6.
  9. Enter the credit card number, expiration date, and security code, then select 'OK.'
  10. Enter the zip code / postal code, then select 'OK.'
  11. Select 'Download Later' or 'Download Now.'
    • Items downloaded now will begin immediately.
    • Items downloaded later will begin when the system enters sleep mode.
